The federal government has declared May 28 (Tuesday) a public holiday in Pakistan for Youm- e-Takbeer. This day commemorates the 1998 nuclear tests at Chagai, making Pakistan the seventh atomic state and the first Islamic nation with nuclear weapons. Youm-e-Takbeer will be celebrated with national zeal and fervor tomorrow. Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan played a key role in making Pakistan a nuclear power.
