Over 40 people died in Karachi in June due to heatwave conditions, according to the Sindh health department. Data shows 45 deaths from heat stroke, with 18 at Civil Hospital and three at Qatar Hospital. The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported Karachi’s hottest night on record in July, with a minimum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, the highest nighttime temperature ever recorded in July for the city.
