India has opted not to travel to Pakistan for the 2024 Champions Trophy, citing security concerns, and has requested to play its matches in Dubai. This decision, communicated to the PCB by the BCCI, follows recent diplomatic talks between India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar. Despite hopes for improved relations, India’s stance remains firm. The tournament is scheduled from February 19 to March 9 in Pakistan.
